International Fertilizer Association launches new interactive web resource, Fertilizer 101

Paris, October 13 2024

The International Fertilizer Association (IFA) is proud to announce the launch of Fertilizer 101 – a brand new interactive, web-based resource that provides a comprehensive overview of the fertilizer value chain. The platform offers users an immersive and engaging look at the lifecycle of fertilizers and everything in between, from production and use efficiency, to safety, biodiversity and human nutrition.
As part of IFA's commitment to promote sustainable practices in agriculture and to educate stakeholders across the industry, this user-friendly tool is designed to be an evergreen resource that IFA members can contribute to with insights, data, and case studies. The platform will be updated to reflect advancements in technology, best practices in fertilizer production, and the latest industry sustainability initiatives.
Alzbeta Klein, CEO and Director General of IFA, said:

"We are thrilled to introduce Fertilizer 101, which we see as an important step forward in making the complexities of the industry accessible to everyone, from policymakers to farmers, educators, and the general public. This platform is not just a one-time initiative; it is a dynamic project designed to grow and evolve. By collaborating with our members, we will ensure that Fertilizer 101 remains a cutting-edge, knowledge-sharing tool that highlights innovations and sustainable practices as they emerge. We invite all our members and partners to share this exciting project, so we can continue to build the industry’s collective knowledge base."

IFA worked with UK-based web design agency, MTM Group, to deliver the new resource.
